Colten & Michelle’s stunning Wedding at Sixty Chapel in Garden City, Idaho was one of the such memorable ceremony! The backdrop for their ceremony was something straight out of a movie. I have had the honor of documenting Colten and Michelle’s family over the last few years.

A Grand Entrance

Colten & Michelle opted to use one of our services, with the PRIVATE charted helicopter. Yes, you read that right, Chasing Light Photography offers private helicopter services.

This couple’s first look was taken in front of the helicopter that we later flew to the top of one of the mountain peaks to take photos of just the two of them, and so they could soak in some sweet moments between just the two of them.

These two showed up with a bang in a helicopter. The views were unbelievable and we got some amazing photos of the bride & groom before they flew back into the wedding where they were greeted by guests. It was definitely a memorable experience for me as the photographer and will make a great story for this amazing couple in the years to come.

Sixty Chapel Wedding Venue

Sixty Chapel is a wedding venue with a view and options. No matter your vibe, they’ve got a location on the property perfect for every couple. It’s located on a ranch, so it’s an amazing get away with accommodations on site for wedding guests including lodging. Colten & Michelle’s ceremony had a breathtaking view of both mountains and ponds in the Lower 38. Standing beneath a wooden hexagon arch covered in a floral spray of deep reds, white, and fresh greenery, Colten & Michelle said, “I Do,” surrounded by their family and friends before dancing the night away at their reception.

We snuck off at sunset to snap a few more photos of the couple. They were such troopers and up for anything so they took a canoe out at one of the ponds for some fun shots. It definitely made for some laughs, but it was well worth the effort. After all, why not add in a little more adventure after their helicopter entrance?

Stellar Idaho Vendor List

These two went all out for their big day! They had the most amazing list of vendors for their ceremony and reception, and this team showed up and showed out for the newlyweds. Everything ran so smoothly and Colten & Michelle had an amazing day as a result. Their guests and party favors were so much fun! How cute were the sunglasses in all of the fun shapes? Their guests were well-fed with a HUGE charcuterie board, and to top it off they had a mobile Espresso bar that was the best coffee I have ever had and it totally hit the spot! In between dances under the warm glow of string lights, guests were able to graze the charcuterie boards. They looked delicious and were a big hit amongst all of the attendees. This wedding was truly a celebration, and a good time was had by all.

I had a blast photographing this couple on their special day from start to finish. Colten & Michelle, the two of you are such a lovely couple and I’m honored to have been a part of your wedding.
